Exercise

Not a word that comes out of my mouth very often. But my hips and thighs need it. So, today I did something. Before Thanksgiving I bought a Beginners Yoga DVD and it has stayed wrapped in the box until today it has now been opened and played once. It wasn't to bad. I guess the big thing will be tomorrow and how I feel. I was nice to do something though. I am also looking at Wii Fit. We shall see. It might not be something for Ben, but it might work out nicley for me and isn't that what really matters. Yes, Becca you might be able to try it here when you come and visit.

I forgot yesterday to let you know that this weekend is going to be National Scrapbooking Day. It is an awesome thing you see, in the paper world of scrapbooking they actually scrap on that day, in the digi world it means you stay on the computer all day and hop from one site to another shopping sales, getting freebies, and having a great time getting numb butt!! This year though I was an idiot and didn't put on my calendar to take the day off so I going to be stuck at work all day trying to get a few moments of fun in that I can. I will never forget to mark myself off for this day. Hope that you all have a great Tuesday. Type at you all later.

Good Monday to Ya

Hey all, I hope that everyone had the weekend that they were hoping for. I did, Ben not so much. Thursday at work I asked about coming on Friday for half a shift. They said they would put me on the schedule but I would be the first to be called off if they didn't need me. I was okay with that. They usually call by five am and I wake up at 5:20. So, 5:20 came with no call I got up and went to work. I got there and by my name for the day was a line through it and it said c/o. Well they called the wrong number. So here I was at work ready with no where to go. Luckily another nurse had been trying to get th morning off but found no one to work it so I just filled in her spot until 1 and then went home. It was ssssoooo nice to go home at 1 and still feel like I could do something with the day.

The whole weekend was pretty much scrapbooking, playing the Wii and doing nothing. Some other highlights were that we went to a bar-b-que for a friends birhtday, Ben went skating at a skate park with Nate and neither of them got hurt!! I hung out with Beth and Kevin while Ben was doing that.

Sunday was Stake Conference but we really couldn't get ourselves to get moving. We do regret not going but what can we do about it now, just try better next time.

We do have a problem the Wii is not reading the discs. That is so not cool. I am going to have to call customer service today and find out what we need to do. I looked up the error online and it said we might have to send it in to get it repaired. Sucker Dog. I even tried to get it to work again this morning and it wouldn't do it.

This morning I was a little bit more active I went outside for 40 min and weeded, yet again, and we are still not done but it is already getting to be too hot in the mornings. It was 92 yesterday. So, I will be doing some more tomorrow morning. I have also swept and mopped the kitchen and hallway, cleaned toilets, morrors and countertops and pulled the chiken out for dinner. Ben is excited about this we are going to try Jambalaya. It's scary for me since I don't like fish. the only fish I will eat is tuna fish.

That is about it for now, I will type at you all later. But of course, I will leave you with a Layout ;) both from Becca's last visit here from ID. Seven more weeks and she will be back again.

Soo.....

...Saturday night I come home from work and get ready for bed and for another day at work. I fall asleep and enter dreamland. At two I wake up to something, Ben then perks up too. It wasn't anyone in the house it was music. Did Ben leave something on?? No. We get up and investigate. It seems to be coming from outside at our neighbors house. It is some techno hip hop music and our neighbor is Mexican. Ben gets up and dresses to tell him to turn it down. When he goes out there the neighbor is just getting home from Walmart doing some grocery shopping. (At two in the morning???) Anyways Ben asks him to turn it down and from the corner of his eye he sees their 3 to 4 year old daughter awake. What in the world is going on here!?!? Whatever, they turn it down and I finally get back to bed. We both though think we could still hear the music but it was nowhere near as loud as it was before. We really didn't think that their family was party animals or late nighters. Oh well, I just feel bad for the kid.

I don't think that I ever told you that our garden is offically in. It took a little bit longer than we had expected and we are still trying to work out some kinks I just hope that we end up with someting from this garden.

On Saturday Ben was mowing the lawn and he found two mole or gopher holes. I hope we can get rid of it. I don't want it to find the garden. We might try the water in the hole trick to see it that works. We'll see. I don't know what else so I wll let you all go and type at you all later.

Makeover

Soo, what do you guys think?
I finally spent some time changing the blog. I am really liking how it turned out. I may tweek it some more but this is a good start. I thought that it was going to be horrendous to figure out but Google helps you find a lot of things.

This past weekend I went to the Time Out for Women and had a really great time. We heard from som really good speakers and Mercy River, Nashville Tribute, and Kenneth Cope were there for the Musical performances. It really was nice to be there with most of our family and friends. Ben and Micah were great they came out and brought us Dog House Grill, instead of us paying $10 for a salad or a sandwich that the event was offering, we got what we wanted. My Mom was a hit. Friday she showed up with little dollar store notebooks for each of us. Saturday for lunch she had drinks, packaged apple slices, paper towels, folding chairs, and wet naps. Everyone was so impressed. I asked her later about it and she just said, oh it was nothing it as only little things. Well those little things added up to make the day that much nicer.

When we went to Disneyland we carried my camera around all day for two days. Because of that we learned that my camera strap is SSSSOOOOO uncomfortable around your neck. Erin told me she had a link to someone who makes straps, so I checked it out and I found one I like from here

There are two really great things about them 1) They are extra long so so can wrap it across your body or it will just fit better on me since I am so tall. 2) They are machine washable. You put them inside a garment bag to was and viola it is nice and clean, very important.

Another exciting note is that Ben replaced our faucet today. I have actually had the fauct since before we moved into the house just sitting under the sink waiting to be put in. So, today Ben said to me, "I wish we had a soap dispenser instead of this big bottle of soap." That was the final straw. I whipped the fauct out and told him that the fauct that I want to put on comes with a dipenser. I had to go to the hardware store nd get the gel for it but that was only $1.75. It took less than an hour to put it in and then Ben said, "This has a lot better pressure than the other one." It is done. Yay! Here it is in all its splendor.

And just for good measure a quiz for ya.

Your Toes Should Be Red

You pretend to be an old fashioned girly girl, but you're secretly a naughty girl deep down.

Your ideal guy: Tall, strong, and handsome - with a devilish twinkle in his eye.

Stay away from: Nice, safe men. They won't really give you what you want!

Type at you all later.

First Half of Book

Gardening 101

Yeah, I don't know what I am doing. Thank goodness for the internet or else we could of had some problems. Last Thursday we rented the big behemouth (sp) of a rototiller since my parents rototiller would not even break through the surface of the ground and we probably would still be out there trying to get to it cut through. So we made the first pass last week and then yesterday we borrowed my parents tiller and mad a second pass blending in the soil amend. Today the plan is to get the drip line in and hopefully some seeds and plants. We are going to plant corn, strawberries, cucumbers, and of course tomatoes. I really think that it is a requirement in most home gardens to have tomato plants even though I don't eat them we will probably give some away.
Last Friday Night I went to a colorgaurd competition for a Young Women in my Ward, I had not been to one for ages, well since I was in it. So, it brought back alot of goog and not so good memories of High School. It just seems like it isn't as big and grand as is was when I was in it. Maybe, it's just me getting older or just things changing with time. Whatever it was I had a good time and enjoyed supporting Diane.
Friday and Saturday is the Fresno Time Out for Women which is sponsered by Deseret Book. I am excited for it. I have heard that they are really good. Me, my mom, mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-laws, and friends are all going together.
That is all, but I will leave you with a layout I finished today.

Idaho Slide Show! (Finally)

A Challenge

So, Erin, my friend from Kansas, has decided that I don't blog enough. I guess that I agree. She has now proposed a challenge, which will probably be a huge challenge for me. The challenge is that I am to post at least once a week, from Sunday to Sunday. In the week there has to be at least one picture or Layout and at least two paragraphs written. The person that misses a week has to get a gift card for the other to The Sweet Shoppe. I really want the gift card, so hopefully I can do this.
Everyone keeps on asking me "Where are the pictures from Idaho?" I am sorry. I have been very lazy about putting these up and they really are so stinking cute! I think I will do a slide for it. Hold on a sec...They are now being uploaded to slide.com
We had agreat time and we both are hoping to make it back there again next winter. We really didn't do anything too exciting we just hung out, played some Wii, Becca tried really hard to watch Enchanted twice but fell asleep both times.
We helpped Becca move some snow, or more like Ben did most of it. Owen was a great cheer leader though.
Owen has this yellow football and Ben stuffed it up the back of his shirt and he thought it was great stuff to get it out of his shirt then we clapped because he got it out then he would get so excited and we would do it over and over again. possibly about 100 times, but he was so daggum cute with those cheeser smiles going on we had to do it.
The slide show is before this post, everyone should be happy now I have posted some pics for them. I will type at you all later!!
