Right Now #26

* By Tuesday morning Katelynn had the cold and them Marky got it. It doesn't seem to be as bad for Mark. We are mostly over it just some random nose blowing.

* It is hot, way too hot. 110 degrees too hot, for the next few days too. This house has a old insufficient AC and we are hoping that it will give out and force the owners to have to buy a new one. It barely blows air through the vents. We just try to keep ourselves as cool as possible.

* Marky loves to say,"Wow" and it is usually a big WOW. I gave him a bowl of ice cream and he said WOW! slowly while having his eyes big and wide open. It is pretty hilarious to watch him do that.

* Daddy came out to Wild Water on Friday and we all had a good time. It was nice to have some help wrangling the kids and keeping watch on them.

Right Now 25

* I have a cold. No fun.

* Brynne stayed the night and Katelynn just loved it. She loves spending time with TaraBrynne. Katelynn has a hard time distinguishing the name between the girls. Hopefully she will get them straight soon. She has a hard time with Max and Jesse too.

* Katelynn is officially signed up for preschool and there is less than 2 months until she starts. Just a little bit nervous for her to be growing up.

* The kids have been loving  playing with the dogs since we moved here. It hasn't been too bad with them out there, just Mark has learned how to turn on the water in the back yard and likes to turn it on full blast. If I walk toward the faucet to turn it off, he knows what I am going to do and starts screaming at me and pushing me away from it.

Right Now 24

* Katelynn had her 4 year annual Appt and we were told that her height is off of the charts, she is so tall for her age that the average growth chart doesn't work for her. She is almost 44 inches tall and 42 lbs. Her weight is in the 90th percentile so her height and weight is proportionate.

* Ben and I had a grand plan to go to the Temple on Thursday night but after getting in the car and stopping to get some dinner to eat in the car we ended up sitting and talking and doing a few things that we wanted to do without kids. It was nice to sit and talk without the interruptions from the kiddos. I do think that we will be getting better at getting out together at least once a week.

* We went swimming twice and to the water park this week. I am hoping to make it out to the water park at least once a week. The kids love it. We go as soon as it opens and leave after a couple hours. It is long enough for us and Marky usually falls asleep on the 10 minute ride home.

* Mark went up and down around on this Octopus slide as least 15 times.

* For Father's day we went and had Breakfast at my parents house and I had Katelynn make a little book for Ben. She wanted to give it to him on Friday when he got home from work but I had her wait until Sunday to give it to him.

Right Now 23

* We are officially moved. It really has been a crazy past couple of weeks and I am trying to get things organized and cleaned up in an orderly fashion.

* Today was a rough day. It didn't help that near the end of sacrament meeting Mark came up to me sat on my lap and promptly fell asleep, which led to a 1/2 hour nap and a cranky child.

* Katelynn said to me today out of the blue, "I have to be brave Mommy. I am a child of God. I trust in God mommy." Oh goodness, how she melted my heart.

* We went to a splash park in town with Aunt Beth and her kids.Katelynn remembered from the one time that we were there last summer that we had a Sno Cone and as soon as she saw the truck pulling in she so wanted one. Good thing I was prepared for that. Her only request was she wanted a blue one.

* The next day we went to a big water park in town and the kids loved it and we all can't wait to go back again.

* After the water park. 

* I shaved Mark's hair off. I don't have a pic of it yet but I think it looks good and no I didn't do a 1 all around it, I did a simple fade that I learned from pinterest. All the whispy hair is gone though. Ben was worried I was going to butcher it.
