Yes, Katelynn is my life but what else is going on around her little existence. I bought Snow White today and Ben and I watched it and Katelynn I think caught some parts of it.
I went to a park day from work today, I think I should have went to the ward park day instead. The ward one is a little more casual and I feel more comfortable with Amy and Lindsay and Brooke and Rachel. I thought I might as well at least give it a shot to see what they were like.
My phone and blue tooth have been driving me nuts, they won't connect and I don't know why. I am going to have to take it in tomorrow and get this figured out. Ben and I are weird and we "talk" (listen to each other breathe) on the phone allot during the day so a blue tooth is crucial to my sanity.
So, I really try to make things easy when Katelynn has to be babysat but I have to take into consideration, Katelynn. She has a mind of her own when I am not the one watching her. For example I will feed her a total of 6 times a day 5 oz. When she is watched she will maybe eat 5 times and maybe 3-4 oz. and there is no rhyme or reason to it either she just won't eat, but she is happy from what everyone says at least. On Monday night she at 7 oz at once since she knew it was bedtime and she was hungry. So, I have to tell myself she will eat she she is hungry, and yes I know I am a crazy woman when it comes to her eating. I am so overly focused on it, but it really has gotten 100% better in the past week. My advice if you are watching her, feed her when she is hungry it may be anywhere from 2-4 hours. Just not longer than 4 hours. Well, Ben wants to get on so I will post some pics tomorrow. Talk to you all later.

Is it just me??
Or does she really have feeding problem? I don't know. Feeding her has been the bane of my exisitance since she was born. I truly have been ruined by work. All of the kids there eat every three hours their perscribed amount every time and then we move on. Guess what in the real world that doesn't happen. I really never know what she wants to eat or when.
For the past 19 weeks feeding has been torture, 10 weeks of nursing and then 9 weeks of trying to schedule her. Guess what? She really doesn't want to be scheduled and waiting three hours to eat never happens. So, we had been using costco's formula and it was a fight. Whenever we went to feed her because she was going insane and nothing else was working she would go even more crazy and Ben had an even harder time feeding her. In the back of my mind I kept wanting to change her formula but didn't want to because of the cost. I finally said screw it and gave her some lactose free formula and it has been alot better feeding her. We may be on to something. I also think that she might have a little bit of reflux. She isn't puking her whole bottle but usually something. So, she is now eating every 2 to 2.5 hours usually four ounces. The worst feeding for some reason is the morning one she will only eat 2 ounces and I usually wait a half hour to an hour to feed her.
I am just rambling but am glad that she is at least eating decently. I just worry since I want her to be nice when others are watching her
On a side note now I have to figure out something to do with Katelynn tomorrow because I have stupid jury duty!!!! Oh, I am so pissed. I feel like I just did this a year ago. Now I have to sit the in the waiting room all day for nothing. This really sucks!

Today
I don't know what brought this on but she just started squealing like this today. She did this all day long. Ben asked in the background, "Is this a phase?" I have no idea, but I really think that it is funny none the less. Ammy your blanket works great to help her be straight in the exersaucer. She was doing this right after she ate, and she was just fine talking like this. Crazy girl. That was the movie Corky Ramono playing in the back ground.
Work
Yesterday I went to work. I had been DREADING it for the past few weeks and REALLY didn't want to go. But I also knew that it would probably be a good thing for me. It wasn't a full 14 hour day, so it was nice to ease into it again. I got there at seven without any tears, which surprised me since I had been crying about it up to a few days before. Katelynn stayed with Ben, I think that was the most helpful as I hadn't been away from her for any amount of time and I was glad that he got to watch her and relieve my stress about the whole thing.
So, what did I do at work?? Read 332 e-mails, which took 3 hours. Took a break, got a PPD test, and a tetnus/pertussis vaccine. Talked with my manager to make sure my status was correct, which it wasn't, got that fixed. Ben and Katelynn met me for lunch, which was wonderful. Then I went to a four hour computer training class that that turned into mush very quickly in my brain. It is a new charting system that goes live Oct 1. I am glad I work Sept 30 and won't be back for a few days, so that some kinks can be worked out by then.
After the class I went back upstairs and got my schedule figured out until the middle of Nov. I climbed those stairs three times, at least, getting things figured out. The big full day of work will be next Sat with Ben watching her again. He said he had a good day and nothing crazy happened. He was really worried that she would somehow get sick while he was watching her and need to call and talk to me and wouldn't be able to get a hold of me. Nothing like that happened though.
I still have, I don't know how many mandatory quizzes that I have to do then I will be back on track at work. I think that I have a few weeks to get those done. We all survived me being at work and that is what matters. Talk to you all later.
