I'm Tired

I had four wonderful days off, worked Monday and then had these three days off where someone put this wild hair up my butt to clean the house. Remember I did this about 6 months ago. This time I added a new highlight.

In my family we call it Bisselling, since that is the name of the machine, but it is just carpet cleaning. We have been here almost two years so I thought that it was probably time. And it was. I guess it is a good thing that we have brown carpet because I really wouldn't have wanted to see all that dirt. I probably would have done this sooner if I did know it was so dirty. Anyways, three days of laboriously cleaning this house from top to bottom, I am tired and I have to work the next two days. Maybe that will give me a break! I know of some moms at work like to go to work because it is a break for them. I really don't know what else to talk about. I really haven't done much this week besides clean and sleep.

Last night was mutual, I am in charge of the Mia Maids. I usually just teach on Sundays and go to the Mid Week activity whenever I am not working. We have had a few activities here, a slumber party, BBQ, and I taught them about Digital Scrapbooking. One of the leaders told me last night that she went out and bought a program and did a page. I was so excited! I love converting people! If you have any questions Michelle just ask. Anyways back to last night's mutual. It was a combined activity (Young Men and Young Women) and they have this activity yearly called Standards Night. It is a way for the leaders to help the youth be motivated to keep the standards of the church like dating, friends, gospel principles, and keeping the word of wisdom. It was really an awesome night. I think that the youth and the leaders all learned from each other and had a fun and spiritual night. I am so glad that I went, I was so close not to going, I was late because I was going back and forth about going or not. The speakers really did do an awesome job and I hope that they know that all their time and effort they put into last night was worth it. It made me see how strong the youth in the church have to be to keep the commandments and follow what Heavenly Father wants them to do and be. I just worry about how the world will be when my kids are teens. It isn't going to be any better that's for sure. I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend and I will type at you all later.

Your Common Spelling Mistake Score: 65% Correct

Your spelling is decent, but you do make quite a few mistakes.

Let's just say you won't be winning a spelling bee anytime soon!

I will be back later with a real post.

What ever

Sometimes the hardest part of blogging is coming up with a dag gum title. It is easy when I know what I want to talk about. I guess I will just go through the weekly round up. Monday I was home from work and chilled around the house mainly. I did get a little worried at one moment when the dogs started barking hysterically and I had no clue what was going on. It was the pest guy who comes monthly that they were excited to see (he had arms that could be used to throw their ball). He did throw the ball and it landed in a fresh pile of poo and Bruno didn't care, he picked it up and brought it over to Josh wanting him to throw it again. So, they started barking when he wasn't throwing it because Josh was cleaning up Bruno's muzzle. Gross!

I worked the next two days. I had three babies two of which were twins. When twins get big and aren't needing too much assistance, like IV's we try to co-bed them. So, these two little girls were staying in the same isolette. It was so incredibly CUTE! Whenever I would go in to change their diapers I had to take a moment to OOh and AAh at them. We have them really close in the isollette where they are always touching (and getting tangled there are more arms and legs than anything). They were about 3.5lbs each, with a full head of hair. Changing the diapers was hilarious as when you went to lift the legs more often than not you would get one leg of each of the girls, then you would have to find the leg that you actually wanted. At the end of my shift I put them facing each other and one had her hand under the sisters cheek. It was sssoooo cute, I really could just eat them up!

Yesterday, I had to go into the car dealership because our Sub was stinking!! I took it in a month or so ago for a check up/ oil change and a week or so after that it started stinking like Diesel. It was DISGUSTING. I was hoping that whatever it was might just burn off, no such luck. So, I reluctantly took it in yesterday at 7am I had a book so I was prepared to stay at least until they would check it out and see what the problem was. At 8:30, he said they were all done and it was the Oil Filter and they also noticed a nail in one of the tires and so both things were fixed and they washed the car. Woo Hoo! I was gone by 9 and was able to make it to a meeting at work. Did some shopping in town then came home. It was a really nice day.

Today is yard day. I spent two hours this morning weeding and pruning rose bushes. tonight Ben will mow and edge. Well, I need to work on my lesson my lesson for Sunday so I will type at you all later and leave you with the LO of the week.

Erin, here's what I did with the template you have too.

This weeks quiz was about who you were in High school. I didn't take AP classes, but I got my first C in college so I guess this is somewhat true.

You Were the Brainy Kid

In high school, you were acing AP classes or hanging out in the computer lab.

You may have been a bit of a geek back then, but now you're a total success!
